Thank you for writing the article about me and my paintings. I have sold quite a few paintings. Some were sold by a friend in Minneapolis. Various people that wandered into my shop my wife Margaret and I had in Phoenix, Michigan, some purchased by a relative in Oulu Finland. Some sold from the CCCAC gallery in Hancock, MI.
I've known Rodney since he was a cute teenager hanging around with my daughter and her cousins in Mohawk/Fulton in the summers. They still keep in touch on Facebook. So what a shock to see this story about him, telling me things I never knew!
I love 'The Painter'. I can see why you wanted it.
I remember when he first started painting, when he lived in the quaint old Post Office building in Phoenix, essentially a ghost town now. He was passionate about it, even then, when his talent wasn't exactly clear. It goes to show that we should never give up on our dreams.
Anyway, this was fun! We seem to have more in common than we could have imagined!
Great story!
